01 / Power

More Power

One of the most robust off-grid power systems available in any trailer under 6,000 lbs dry. Paired with a Renogy 3000W pure sine wave inverter, you can power A/C, outlets, and all appliances completely off-grid—with ports for up to 600W of additional portable solar.
02 / Bathroom

A dedicated dry bath inside a compact overland trailer is rare—especially with hot/cold water and a Thetford cassette toilet. This gives you independence from campgrounds or external facilities.

Why Roamers buy here

“The dealership makes a difference. I talked to off-road dealers that specialize in this. They couldn’t tell me anything about the trailer specifics. Hey, it’s got a great suspension. Why? And they couldn’t tell me. So in this case ROA knew all the answers, and why.”

Straight Answers

Will my truck tow the XT16HR Island?

It depends on your truck, how it is equipped and how you load the trailer. Fully loaded it can weigh up to 6,147 lbs, with about 530 lbs on the hitch, so compare those to your truck's ratings, not the dry weight. A Sales Coach will check your setup.

What powers it off grid?

800 Ah of lithium battery, 700 W of rooftop solar with ports for 600 W more of portable panels, and a 3,000 W pure sine inverter that runs the air conditioner, the microwave and every outlet without hookups. How long it lasts depends on what you run and how much sun you get.

Does it have a real bathroom?

Yes. A Thetford cassette toilet and a separate hot and cold shower, plus an outdoor shower with its own tent.

What does it carry for cold weather?

Heated tank pads, insulated water lines, a wet bay heated from inside, an anti-freeze kit for the water heater, self heating batteries, dual pane windows and an 11,500 BTU Truma furnace. Ask a Sales Coach how it suits the trips you have in mind.

Where can I see one?

Which trailer is right for you?

Dry weight is the trailer empty. Fully loaded is the most it weighs with water and gear on board.
